About

profie pictureMothers Helping Others was founded in 2014 by Jennifer. The organization was formed with the main goal of helping families within communities across Southern California. Jennifer is a mother who had passion for giving and saving money.

Jennifer began extreme couponing in 2011 and accumulated a house full of toiletry items. When the stockpile of toiletry items that she was storing continued to grow, she decided to start donating to food pantries. During this period, she realized that there existed a gap a gap within food pantries and donation centers to provide the community with every day personal and household essentials. She discovered that these items were limited and if available, they would be small travel and trial sized portions.

Thereafter, Jennifer started taking her toiletry items to the food pantry once a month for donation day. Her donation became popular very quickly within the whole region. There was a rapid increase in the number of food pantries and pantry patrons were mesmerized on how much their families had benefited from the service. That is how Mothers Helping Others was born.

Our main goal is to give families financial freedom by giving them toiletry items for free, which would cost about $50 at the store. This will help families to save that money and use it to pay other bills or meet other financial obligations.
