Mothers Box

150149_278375355705189_1569963408210784403_nSchool Supplies are not the only things that are plaguing our youth and not enhancing academic success. Many of the students in the Los Angeles areas that we service are either homeless, displaced, or severely low-income. The students parents are not able to afford uniforms, jackets, clothing, and many more necessities.

The name mothers box stems from the the mothers innate ability to provide for her family.  We call named this program as such because each item that is provided is packed in a box by a mother with ribbon and name tags.

Mothers Box is a school based program that provides students with essentials that they are missing.  Items supplied include shoes, jacktes, underwear, socks, and jackets.  During the 2014-2015 school year Mother Box program purchased school uniforms for fifteen students from Pomona Unified School District and Gompers Middle school in Watts.

At this time we have reached our funding maximum for uniforms and will not be providing uniforms again until the 2015-2016 school year.  Please check back at the beginning of the new school year for uniform assistance.

If you are in a low income area or work for a low income school and are in need of our services.  Please send an email to info@mothershelpingothersinc.com
