Ways to Stay Positive
A lot of the time staying positive is easier said than done, especially when you feel like everything is going against you. For situations like these you can either try to search for the positive things in life or fall into easier moods- anger, stressed, and frustrated. I have compiled a list of 4 things to do when you feel like you just cannot win.
- Take a deep breath, this can help clear your mind and help set your priorities.
- Start on your tasks right away- do not procrastinate! A lot of the time people get frustrated and stressed out because they feel like they have too much on their plate. Work on your tasks little at a time and do not wait until last minute to try and finish everything. This will allow you to feel accomplished and will eliminate that dragging feeling in the back of your mind of knowing you have to do something.
- In every situation try to think of the good and not the bad. Most likely there is something you have to look forward to- even if it is not in the immediate future.
- Do more of what makes you happy. Set aside time every day to do something that you just absolutely love to do, this will help you loosen up and enjoy your day more.
